Wolford has a new management duo for the time being. Paul Kotrba was appointed as a new member of the Management Board for a period of six months starting in August.
The hosiery manufacturer from Bregenz, Austria, announced on Tuesday that the supervisory board intends to carry out the appointment process for a new board member within the next six months. As Chief Operating Officer, Kotrba oversees Supply Chain and Production, Legal and Compliance, Investor Relations, IT and Digital, and PMO.
The 49-year-old takes over most of the responsibilities of his predecessor Andrew Thorndike, who left the company at the end of July. Thorndike had managed the company with Chief Commercial Officer Silvia Azzali since November 2019.
From August, Azzali will also take over the areas of research & development and sustainability, finance and human resources. So far, Azzali has been responsible for sales, merchandising, brand & marketing and design.
