Wolford has launched a capsule collection with Italian fashion house Alberta Ferretti. The collection includes ten styles including bodysuits, dresses, tops, tights and leggings, each available in black, white and powder pink.
The designs of the collection show graphic patterns and play with different levels of transparency. Materials of different thicknesses were combined for the individual pieces, which trace the shape of the body and accentuate certain parts of the body. Black and white photographs were created for the launch of the campaign, in which the silhouettes of the women depicted were softened by indirect light and thus contrasted with the geometric graphics.
The common denominator of Wolford and Alberta Ferretti is above all “the constant search for a balance between quality of materials and know-how, between aesthetics and comfort, to create a product destined to last forever,” says designer Alberta Ferretti .
“Alberta Ferretti has long pursued a vision that responds to the needs of women in a contemporary way and therefore perfectly aligns with the work we do every day at Wolfors,” says Silvia Azzali, Chief Commercial Officer at Wolford. The capsule collection represents a “vision by women for women”.
In previous years, Wolford had already collaborated with Vetements, Adidas and the shoe label Amina Muaddi, among others.
