Althaus can do something at this World Championships that no other ski jumper has ever been able to do at a World Championship: if the 26-year-old also wins gold on the large hill, she would be the record holder with four titles at a single World Championship.

Althaus and Patrick Schmid have been a couple since 2015. The World Cup high-flyer keeps posting photos of the couple together on Instagram.
