The clothing retailer Witt Group gets a new IT boss. On Tuesday, the company, which belongs to the Hamburg retail and service group Otto Group, announced that Ralf Bosch would take over the post of Chief Information Officer (CIO) on June 1st. In the future he will be “responsible for the entire IT of the Witt Group with more than 200 employees” and will “continuously improve the customer experience through the use of technology, digitization and IT, expand the market position and improve the efficiency of business processes through an increasing degree of automation increase,” the company said in a statement.
During his career, Bosch has held various management positions in the IT departments of the logistics companies DB Schenker and GLS, as well as at the airline Lufthansa. “His areas of specialization include the further development and optimization of IT architecture and technology use in companies, the management of IT and digital transformation as well as the use of automation technologies and artificial intelligence to generate business value,” explained his future employer. “We are delighted that we have been able to recruit such a proven IT expert for the Witt Group in Ralf Bosch,” explained Jürgen Angstmann, the clothing supplier’s Managing Director Services.
