A man (79) died in a traffic accident on Friday morning in Neukölln.

The driver was driving his Dacia on Neuköllner Strasse around 9 a.m. After starting at a traffic light, the car left the lane to the right for reasons that have not yet been clarified and initially grazed a stationary trailer that was parked on the right-hand side of the road. Then he drove into a parked Audi and came to a stop.

Witnesses freed the man from the car and began resuscitation measures – without success. An alarmed emergency doctor could only determine the death of the man.

A specialist inspectorate is responsible for further investigations into the course of the accident and the cause of death.
