The US rapper Lil Baby wrote on Twitter on Monday that new music would not be long in coming. Fans might even have a new record to look forward to, while his current album MY TURN continues to stubbornly climb the Billboard 200 charts.

The announcement came after the Lil Baby shared a post from Chart Data on Twitter. The post confirmed that Baby’s album has now been on the Billboard 200 chart for over 100 weeks. The record “never left the top 100 and is still in the top 20”. “Chart Data” is considered one of the most important Twitter accounts for musicians.

Lil Baby’s album MY TURN was released on February 28, 2020. Within a week, the album rocketed to number 1 on the Billboard charts. At the end of the year, awards such as triple platinum followed in the USA. The album achieved silver in the UK. Lil Baby reportedly grossed $19 million on the record. His debut HARDER THAN EVER was released in May 2018.

Lil Baby had previously been sentenced to two years in prison for multiple crimes as a 19-year-old. After serving his sentence, he finally decided to pursue a musical career. HARDER THAN EVER was able to place itself at number 3 in the official charts. The contributors included Canadian superstar Drake. Nicki Minaj was also able to win over Lil Baby recently.
