The City Football Group has transferred a coach from one club to another: Patrick Kisnorbo is moving from Melbourne City FC to ESTAC Troyes in the French Ligue 1. At table 13, where the 41-year-old follows Bruno Irles, the Australians get a contract valid until 2025.

Troyes has been part of the City Football Group around Manchester City since September 2020, Melbourne since 2014. Kisnorbo became champion with the South Australians in 2021 and scored an average of 1.97 points in 69 competitive games. The A-League Men, who are only on a World Cup break until December 9, lead the club with 16 points after six games. With Jamie Maclaren (29), Marco Tilio (21) and Mathew Leckie (31), three Australian World Cup participants are under contract with Melbourne City.
