How was this passion born?

“From the fascination for the world of the circus, I have always been attracted by the circus atmospheres of Fellini’s films as well as by the trapeze artist of the film“ Il cielo sopra Berlino ”. I started about ten years ago, three sisters who work in the circus taught me the various movements ”.

“With some suspended tools, such as the circle and the triangle and with aerial fabrics, I perform evolutions with particular ligatures. The effect is of figures in the air, a magical atmosphere is created, based on the contexts, sometimes even gothic and dark. It is a very spectacular discipline, I had included it in the videoclip of “Noi brave donne”.

What characteristics does it develop?

“Strength, coordination and graceful movements. But also concentration. The passages between one binding and another must be memorized, the mental mechanisms are stimulating “.

To maintain its lightness, what are its rules at the table?

“I have a varied and balanced diet. During the week I try not to eat the same foods, red meat only once, two days I opt for vegetarian and vegan food, lots of fruit and at least a liter of water a day “.

And how did the passion for Juventus start?

“In the footsteps of my father, black and white. As a child I cheered more, today I warm up for the national team “.

Your favorite footballers?

“Totò Schillaci, also for the magical nights, and the great Roberto Baggio”.

How was the title of the new album “Short films” born?

“From my lives. During the concerts I love to define some pieces that I have written as short films that express concepts, situations and various moods, each one is a journey. It is nice to think that each individual experiences a surprising daily life that often varies and sometimes returns ”.

Among the authors of the songs many artists such as Giovanni Caccamo, Marco Masini, Bungaro and Gaetano Curreri. On October 1st Giusy will sing at the Parco della Musica in Rome, on October 3rd she will be at the “Dal Verme” in Milan.
