For the third year in a row, premier divisionist RKC Waalwijk has had a special carnival outfit made. The team will play at home against FC Twente on Carnival Friday in this unique red-yellow-blue shirt.
The basic colors red, yellow and blue refer to Schoenlapperslaand, as Waalwijk is called during carnival. On the back of the shirt are ‘Three Little Beers’, a combination between the popular song ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley and liters of lager, which will undoubtedly disappear in many throats. Finally, RKC reports, the logo on the chest has been adjusted. There are now three of the single RKC lion, who walk the polonaise one after the other.
A tradition, RKC calls it, even if it is only the third time that the football club has released a special carnival outfit. Season ticket holders can get the shirt with priority.
