Weather forecast dead commemoration and liberation day
According to Donny, the mercury drops from Friday: “During the commemoration of the dead and on Liberation Day, it will be a bit colder with about 15 degrees.” That cover in temperature has to do with a cooler north wind, says Donny. Sunday, May 4, on the day of commemoration of the dead, rain can fall and it is alternately sunny and cloudy.
A day later it is Liberation Day, on Monday 5 May. Do you want to go to a festival or do you have other plans? Then Donny has good news: there is a good chance that it will stay dry. The temperature is probably around 15 degrees. “All in all, these are still great conditions to go out.”
Free on Liberation Day?
In 2025, many Zoetermeerders are free on Liberation Day. This is a anniversary year: eighty years ago, the Second World War came to an end. Every five years is such a anniversary year.
