The Sziget Festival will also take place this summer from August 10th to 15th, 2023 on the Danube Island Óbudai or “Island of Freedom” in Hungary. With almost 500,000 visitors, it is one of the largest festivals in Europe and has the motto: “LOVE REVOLUTION: Love who you want – be who you want to be!” Now the first artists have been announced who will be performing on will perform at the festival in the heart of Budapest.
The first 30 confirmed artists include David Guetta, Florence + The Machine, Imagine Dragons and Billie Eilish, who will play at the festival as part of her world tour. In addition, Yungblud, Sven Väth, Sam Fender, Foals and many more are part of the line-up. You can find all previously confirmed artists here.
Not only music is played on the 50 stages, but also speeches by activists and theater and film performances as well as various wellness activities. There are around 200 program items on each of the six days. Also on the island can be found a retro fair, a giant maze, a sports area and various art/light installations.
