If there is a win in the diptych with Tuzla City, AZ already knows who will meet next in the Conference League. The draw has shown that Dundee United will be the opponent in the third qualifying round of the Conference League.
First, AZ has to deal with Tuzla City from Bosnia-Herzegovina in two matches. Then the meeting with Dundee United from Scotland awaits. Last season, the club finished fourth in the Scottish league, just a block away from Celtic and Rangers.
The matches in the third preliminary round will be played on Thursday 4 August and Thursday 11 August.

AZ will play the first game in the second preliminary round at home against Tuzla City on Thursday at 8.30 pm. Next week the return awaits in Sarajevo. In between, the Alkmaarders still practice at home against Bologna, where Denso Kasius, Jerdy Schouten and Mitchell Dijks play among others.
