Winston Gerschtanowitz is disappointed with ‘meager’ price in Million Hunt

Winston Gerschtanowitz entered the country yesterday with a relatively low cash prize for the home winner of Million Hunt. “Unfortunately I am on the road with a somewhat thinly filled suitcase.”

Millions are at stake in the Linda de Mol show Miljoenenjacht every week. Many a candidate goes home with hundreds of thousands of euros. The amount that the candidate wins in the studio also always goes to a home winner. And that is then visited live in the broadcast by Winston Gerschtanowitz.

Skinny filled suitcase

However, Linda’s candidate won ‘only’ 21 thousand euros yesterday. He played out all the high amounts in record time. “I hope the lucky home winner has looked and does not see Winston and think: the barrels are going to fly around my ears!”, Linda said almost weighed down.

Her colleague Winston then live in the picture: “One week I’m on the road with a suitcase with tons and the next week with a somewhat meagerly filled suitcase with 21 thousand euros, but since it’s my birthday tonight I thought: look what a nice cake! I don’t come to visit empty-handed.”

‘Sorry for him’

The home winner turned out to be an elderly love couple. She felt sorry for the candidate in the studio: “It was sad for him that all those millions went out immediately.”

Winston: “Well, sorry for him… Indirectly, of course… It could have been a lot more for you, of course.”

Her partner then: “We are happy with it. Super.”

Viewers are sorry for the home winner, can be read on Twitter. “Would you let Winston disrupt your lovemaking for this amount?”, wonders professional TV viewer Victor Hopman.

RTL Boulevard reporter Joost Maiburg: “Well, it’s a nice amount, but when you finally get to play the final of Miljoenenjacht or have Winston on the doorstep, you still hope for a higher amount than 14,910 euros net.”

Jack thinks again that people react conceited. “It’s pretty sad that we can no longer be happy with 21,000 euros these days.”
