Wings of Time: Tame Impala Deliver Song to Dungeons & Dragons Soundtrack

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is coming to German cinemas on March 30, starring Chris Pine. Part of the soundtrack has already been released this Friday (March 10th). Responsible for this: Kevin Parker with his band project Tame Impala. The single is called “Wings of Time”.
Nicholas Allbrook was also involved in the production. He was a touring musician for Tame Impala until 2013. According to Parker, the ideal partner for this project, with whom he could indulge his “longstanding love of fantasy prog rock”. It was created in a villa in Spain, which gave the feeling of a castle and thus brought both closer to a possible setting of the popular fantasy role-playing game.
“Wings of Time” is the third song Tame Impala have contributed to soundtracks in a year. Released in mid-2022 “Turn Up The Sunshine” for the animated film “Minions: The Rise of Gru, along with Diana Ross, and a remix of the Elvis title “Edge of Reality” for the biopic of “King of Rock’n’Roll”.
The current, fourth studio album by Tame Impala, THE SLOW RUSH, was released in 2020. Parker will be on a festival tour in South America with him until the end of March. In addition, he was on the single “New Gold” from the deluxe version of the Gorillaz full-player CRACKER ISLAND, which was released in February 2023.
