everything is better with a glass of wine in hand. This is how he decants, at least, the success that different proposals that complement his experiences with the addition of wine are having. Coaching, tarot and ceramic sessions These are some of the plans that open the game and invite this drink to take part in a plan to relax and enhance the experience.
spirit and emotion
“Tarot & wine it is a proposal created to bring a magical and different touch to a meeting between friends”, says Vera Alimonda, astrologer, tarot reader, author of “Bitácora Astrológica” (El Ateneo) and in charge of the @taller.de.magias account. She imparts this experience to groups that summon her to throw the cards at them or, as she likes to propose, each one asks a question and they all answer. “We played at being tarot readers and oracle readers. It is usually a highly chosen proposal for birthdays, bachelorette parties or simply a dinner that you want to have a different component”, illustrates the expert. The fans are usually women between the ages of 30 and 45 who want to offer their friends an original plan.
And how did wine come to this centuries-old oracular language? Almost by chance: in all the events to which Vera was summoned, there were glasses and bottles on the table, conversing with the cards. “It brings a different dynamic to those occasions in which we want to enjoy and share a meeting with a disruptive touch”, says Alimonda. In May Tarot & Wine It will also have an open meeting at La Rosa, a space that offers cultural and spiritual proposals in Montoya, Punta del Este, in front of the beach.
Another discipline that includes wine in its development is coaching. This is how they do it at Qatar Coaching (@catar_coaching), led by the philosopher, coach and sommelier Sabrina Curti. “It is an activity that stimulates the senses to connect with our emotions. The activities use the conscious tasting structure that allows us to stop at each of our senses to observe, challenge our beliefs, smell and connect with our intuition”, describes the specialist. Metaphors from the world of wine (transformation, processes and cycles) are used to inspire conversations related to leadership. “A method of five competencies is proposed that uses the sommelier archetype to generate and develop these skills,” says Curti.
With face-to-face training and meetings in CABA, they also have ambassadors in the world, in Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile and Paraguay. The next meeting will be in April, with a tasting of emotions.
With the hands
But not only the spiritual can be mobilized with wine. Also manual activities benefit from this union.
So it happens in Ceramic & Wine, the pairing between the classes of Pangea Cerámicas and the wines of the Martino Wines winery. “Many times when I am at home and everyone is asleep, I like to grab a piece of clay, pour myself a glass of wine and start creating freely. That made me think how good it would be to be able to offer the same thing to others”, says Daniela Mazzei, creator of Pangea. What was born was the union with this winery and the challenge of creating with one’s own hands the emblematic penguin jug to serve the wine. While it is being built, the winery’s four varietals are tasted: Pedro Giménez, rosé, malbec and marselan, explaining where the grapes come from, how they are grown, stored and behind the scenes. All accompanied by a snack and good music. “I think that after the second drink everyone relaxes and can create more freely”, laughs Mazzei, who adds that the meeting encourages social interaction and active meditation through manual work. To find out about upcoming dates, you have to keep an eye on her Instagram, @pangea_ceramicas.
The floral design and the assembly of bouquets It is another practice that is allied to this drink. In Alejandra Durana’s workshop, she seeks to play with the five senses to take floral art one step further. “Tastings are in fashion, and every day people get closer and closer to the world of flowers. We considered it a great alternative to offer a new experience, ”she describes. The first edition surprised even its creator, since not a single place was left free. “Combining wines and flowers and being able to talk about the many points in common that they have allowed us to put together this proposal with a special fluidity,” says Durana, who has spent years conducting workshops and training in floral design and assembling bouquets. To satisfy those who want to repeat the experience and also those who still write today looking for dates, the second edition will be at the end of April, and in the second semester they plan three or four more in order to take advantage of the variety of spring flowers. . tastings in the water
Finally, wine can also be a great travel companion. At Baires Wines (@baires_wines ) they found the perfect pairing with yacht trips through the Delta. “We started in quarantine with a boat for 8 people, looking for a way to unite the wine with some kind of outing. We set sail every 15 days on Saturdays and Sundays from the bay of Nordelta. Today we have two boats of 15 and 30 people and we leave every weekend from different ports in the area”, says Claudio Marquez, creator of the venture.
The output is with sommeliers who present different boutique wines and pair them with delicatessen products. In recent times they have also added private experiences with more luxurious boats and departures from La Plata to Colonia for the weekend, which include all meals and lodging, in this case on a sailboat. “At the beginning of April we will also include Entre Ríos as a destination,” adds Marquez. It is clear that that of wine and experiences is a romance that has just begun.
