Since the beginning of this year, 60 percent more wind energy has been produced than in the same period last year, while capacity has only grown by 20 percent in one year, reports Martien Visser of Energieopwek.nl. With solar energy, the trend was reversed: capacity grew by 30 percent, but production increased by only 10 percent.
