Instruments superfluous – the ensemble of “Stomp” turns everyday objects such as garbage cans or matchboxes into drums or trumpets.
Language skills not necessary – everyone understands this 100-minute performance, music transcends all (language) borders. The imaginative sound artists are visiting the Admiralspalast in Mitte from March 14th to 19th. “Stomp” was invented in the UK 25 years ago. But young players keep adding a fresh twist to the proven principle.
