Revised sound with raw charm
Ten years after the release of “Recomposed”, Max Richter presents Vivaldi’s Four Seasons again on his new album “The New Four Seasons: Vivaldi Recomposed”. Richter received support from violinist Elena Urioste and the musicians from Chineke! orchestra. Together they created the new version of “The New Four Seasons”.
During the new composition, Richter revised the electronics and opted for Moog synthesizers from the 70s – the “equivalent to the Stradivarius”. Of the difference, Richter said, “As different as smooth and crunchy peanut butter, someone said. That actually sums it up!”
