Win a duo ticket for the musical Marie-Antoinette in Torhout
In September, the grand musical spectacle ‘Marie-Antoinette’ descends on Wijnendale Castle near Torhout. This open-air spectacle with a covered grandstand and floating stage on a pontoon, which tells the fascinating story of the unsung, last queen of France in an immersive way, will take place on and around the moat of the Castle.
This impressive production, with lavish costumes, wonderful music and a stunning setting, provides an illuminating insight into the turbulent, short life of this last queen of France, who was beheaded through incest and high treason.
The role of Marie-Antoinette will be played by the West Flemish musical actress Liesbeth Roose. Liesbeth comes from Tielt and therefore plays a real home game around the castle of Wijnendale. Linda Lepomme also shines in this musical.
Each performance lasts 130 minutes, with an intermission.
