– I’ve been struggling with a persistent sore throat and coryza, which doesn’t seem to be going away. I’m really sorry. I would have liked to jump in the match against Sweden and at the same time compete in the renovated Olympic Stadium, but now it is not possible, says Murto in the press release of the Finnish Sports Association.
It’s not about corona, because Murto says he gave a negative test result. It gives you the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of the Olympic Stadium.
– I have consulted the doctor and received permission that if my mood allows it, I want to be a part of the ceremony set up for the Sweden match on Saturday night for a short moment, says Murto.
Instead of the European champion, Sweden will compete in the match Laura Ollikainen.
