Rehearsals for the coronation of King Charles took place on Wednesday 3 May at Westminster Abbey. Prince William and Princess Catherine also arrived at the rehearsal together with their children George’s9, Charlotte’s8, and Louis’s5, with.

The family joined Charles and Queen Consort Camilla before arriving at the church. The party also included Charles’ sister, Princess Anne.

Recent pictures reveal that the rest of the royal family also represented the event in good spirits. Like Camilla, they also greeted the crowd and exchanged a few words with the parishioners.

Prince George arrived at rehearsals in a navy blue suit, just like his father William. Nine-year-old George is tasked with carrying the king’s mantle alongside three other boys.

Princess Charlotte, who followed William and George, was dressed in a blue dress and a white cardigan.

William and Catherine’s youngest child, Louis, arrived at the church in the same car as George.

King Charles will be crowned on Saturday, May 6 in London and arrangements are currently underway. On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, hundreds of soldiers practiced the coronation procession through the streets of London. The exercises caught the attention of the citizens and according to the Mirror, some of the royal fans waited outside for more than three hours to see the procession.
