It was an evening in the Kitchen Champion Division with many goals. Willem II scored no fewer than five times against poor Helmond Sport (5-1). TOP Oss lashed out against neighbor FC Den Bosch: 3-0. FC Eindhoven, on the other hand, conceded four goals. FC Dordrecht was 4-0 too strong.
TOP Oss – FC Den Bosch 3-0
It was a real Brabant derby, which TOP and FC Den Bosch ‘fought out’ with each other. Already in the first half a yellow card was shown four times to Rick Stuy van de Herik, Kay Tejan and Dean van der Sluys from the home club and Teun van Grunsven from the Bossche rival. Only one goal was scored, by Jearl Margaritha, who found the net in the 26th minute.
With fifteen minutes left on the clock, the game was decided by Stuy van de Herik (2-0). Meanwhile, Jorn van Hedel and Tomas Kalinauskas had also seen yellow on the Bossche side. In extra time, the party for TOP was completely completed by a goal from Kyvon Leidsman.

Willem II – Helmond Sport 5-1
Another Brabant get-together took place in the King Willem II Stadium in Tilburg. Willem II was more than a size too big for Helmond Sport. Already in the first half it took distance from the Helmond low flyer through goals from Leeroy Owusu and Elton Kabangu.
Soon after the resumption it seemed to be exciting again when Martijn Kaars scored for Helmond Sport. Within 4 minutes the difference was again two, when Jizz Hornkamp made it 3-1 from eleven meters. Helmond Sport then had to take hits from Max Svensson and Jeremy Bokila. Referee Joey Kooij handed out a yellow card to six players: Erik Schouten, Svensson (Willem II), Flor Van Den Eynden, Peter van Ooijen, Elmo Lieftink and Jarno Lion (Helmond Sport).
Willem II awaits another opponent from his own province on Monday: FC Eindhoven will come to visit.

ADO The Hague – NAC Breda 2-1
NAC’s new trainer Peter Hyballa had already warned before the meeting with ADO Den Haag that the 5-1 win over Jong AZ a week earlier had to be seen in the right proportions. ADO made that clear on the field of the Bingoal Stadium. Jody Wehrmann, after a truly brilliant attack from The Hague, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. More than fifteen minutes later, NAC defender Tijs Velthuis helped ADO in a very unfortunate way to the 2-0.
In the second half, the formation of former national coach Dick Advocaat did not make much of it. Except for a single chance and a goal from Odysseus Velanas, NAC was unable to take advantage of this. ADO had to finish the game with ten men, because Thomas Verheydt was sent off.
FC Dordrecht – FC Eindhoven 4-0
Downright disappointing, that’s how FC Eindhoven met FC Dordrecht. The number three of the Kitchen Champion Division clearly missed the two suspended attackers Charles-Andreas Brym and Evan Rottier. But also defensively it was not good what the team of trainer Rob Penders showed. Pepijn Doesburg and Tidjany Touré gave the home team a surprising 2-0 lead at half time.
In the second half it got even worse for the team from Eindhoven, when Touré managed to strike again. In the 90th minute, Mauro Savastano made the final score 4-0. What a drama for the Penders team. One lucky thing: competitor Almere City FC also lost to… Jong PSV.
Almere City FC – Young PSV 1-2
Perhaps the most beautiful goal this Friday evening came in the name of Jason van Duiven. The striker of the Jong PSV aimed the ball in the 23rd minute with a beautiful arc over the goalkeeper of Almere City FC, Nordin Bakker, who was not small. After more than 20 minutes in the second half, Van Duiven once again attracted attention. Now he took advantage of a collision between two Almere City players as smartly as he did, and that meant 0-2. One blemish on Van Duiven’s performance: he received a yellow card, just like teammate Fedde Leysen and Manel Royo (Almere City).
Oh yes, Almere City saved the honor in the 83rd minute: Lance Duijvestijn converted a penalty kick.
