As stated in a report in English “expressmeans that BVB is one of the potential buyers for youngster Djed Spence. According to the newspaper report, the 21-year-old is in the process of becoming one of the “most sought-after young talents in Europe”.
Djed Spence is on loan to English second division club Nottingham Forrest this season. He is actually under contract with league rivals FC Middlesbrough, where he still has an ongoing working paper until 2024.
Spence has made 29 appearances in the English Championship this season, scoring one goal. Born in London, he is considered a high-speed footballer who can play as a rail player on the right defensive flank in both a four-man and five-man formation.
The list of well-known prospects for the top talent is said to be getting longer and longer. According to the media report from England, there should be “up to 14 clubs” that are currently closely following the loan player’s steep performance curve in Nottingham.
Sancho and Bellingham were similar BVB transfer coups
In the last winter transfer period, Tottenham Hotspur in particular is said to have tried to secure Djed Spence’s services.
