Will Levis announces “bloodbath” before Jaguars game

Will Levis knows what the hour has come. The rookie quarterback recently suffered two defeats with the Tennessee Titans and is therefore in danger of losing sight of the NFL playoffs. To prevent this from happening, he now tried to rouse his comrades with clear words.

The Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday night. While the hosts lead the AFC South with a record of 6-3, Tennessee is currently in last place in the table with a record of 3-6. In the event of a defeat, the guests can bury their playoff dreams prematurely, which is why Will Levis made his comrades aware of the importance of this encounter during the week.

“Every game from now on is going to be a bloodbath. But it just seems like you have to do your best in these division games or you’ll get kicked in the mouth,” the Titans QB said in a media roundtable.

In the last two NFL games, however, Levis and Co. probably didn’t reach their limits. After a 16:20 defeat at the Pittsburgh Steelers, there was then a 6:20 defeat at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NFL rookie believes in his leadership abilities

After his impressive NFL debut against the Atlanta Falcons (28:23), when he managed four touchdowns, Levis himself remained pale in the following games. In both Pittsburgh and Tampa, for example, he didn’t throw a TD, but he did throw an interception.

Despite these setbacks, the signal caller is still convinced that he can lead his teammates to success.

“I believe I have an innate ability to bring others along,” Levis said. “It’s a hard job, but I like having hard jobs. I guess it’s just my nature and I have to keep finding ways to be a better leader.”
