Will it snow tomorrow in North Holland?

The days are getting colder and the first snow showers in the Netherlands have already been predicted. Code yellow will apply tomorrow in the (north) east of the country due to the winter conditions, but what about North Holland? Will it snow here too?

“There may be some wet snow, but it will mainly be rain,” explains NH weatherman Jan Visser. But according to the weatherman there will be no snow left.

The temperature will drop towards two degrees tomorrow, but will probably not drop below freezing. This means that the chance of black ice on the road is also less than expected. “But the rain can also cause many accidents,” Visser emphasizes. “So proceed with caution.”

Snow later in the week

Although tomorrow’s wet snow will not last, it seems to be the starting signal for winter days. Later in the week, according to the weatherman, it could ‘really’ snow. “There is certainly a chance of snow, especially towards Thursday and Friday,” he explains. “But that depends on the direction of the depression and other factors.”
