Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are not expected to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their visit to Britain in September. The Daily Mail reported about it.
Harry and Meghan will travel to Manchester on September 5 to attend charity events. Later, the couple will also travel to Germany.
It has been revealed to the magazine that there are no plans for Harry and Meghan to meet Prince William and Duchess Catherine, as the purpose of the visit is to focus on supporting charities important to the couple.
According to Ingrid Seward, a journalist specializing in royals, it is unlikely that the couples will meet each other during the visit.
– I don’t think they would have bumped into each other if the meeting hadn’t been arranged in advance, Seward commented to The Sun magazine.
However, Harry and Meghan are believed to meet Queen Elizabeth, who was reported earlier in the summer to have invited the couple to spend the summer with her in Scotland.
Harry and Meghan last visited Britain in June for the celebrations of Elizabeth’s 70 years in power.
Cool intervals
According to the magazine, the brothers have not spoken face to face since the Princess Diana statue was announced last summer. There has been long speculation about the relationship between the brothers. Insiders have been rumored to be very cool between Harry and William at the moment.
In June, court assistants were said to have arranged the couples’ schedules so that they would not bump into each other during Elizabeth’s celebrations.
Later in August, William and Kate will move from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage, closer to Windsor Castle. The couple is said to want to be closer to Elizabeth.
If Harry and Meghan are staying at their Frogmore Cottage home during their visit, they will be just a few minutes’ walk from William and Kate’s new home. The couples last lived as neighbors in 2019 before Harry and Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace.
The couple moved to the US in 2020. They are believed to be traveling to Harry’s second homeland without their children Archie and Lilibet.
