What unrest again in talk show land: they are all going to do musical chairs there next summer and Eva Jinek is also part of it. As of September, she will be shown from Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m. on NPO 1, on the prestigious DWDD slot. And who will come on Friday? People think Matthijs van Nieuwkerk.
Matthijs on Friday?
Eva’s talk show will be made by MediaLane, the company of Joop van den Ende’s daughter, and Matthijs is also affiliated with it. “I received information via DM that Matthijs van Nieuwkerk will provide the Friday broadcast. Would be logical,” ratings authority Tina Nijkamp wrote to her analysis channel.
Tina speaks RTL Boulevard the expectation that NPO 1 will finally score again at 7 p.m. after the Khalid & Sophie drama. “After De Wereld Draait Door we of course saw De Vooravond, we saw the talk show M, Khalid & Sophie and recently Nadia. In fact, all four shows did not score extremely high.”
DWDD missed
NPO 1 still misses DWDD enormously, says Tina. “The NPO really misses the success of De Wereld Draait Door and they will be very happy with the arrival of Eva, because now they finally have another chance to reach the million viewers at seven o’clock.”
And what about that Friday? TV expert Rob Goossens thinks the same as Tina: “Jan Slagter, who is already having dinner with Matthijs van Nieuwkerk, will probably have ideas for that.”
‘I don’t believe’
Sandra Schuurhof chimes in Show news not to believe in the arrival of Matthijs. “I don’t believe that.”
Private boss Evert Santegoeds: “Friday evening was normally the time when he urgently traveled to his farm in the east of the country and now he would have to go to work.”
Crumb
Sandra thinks that Matthijs is too big for such a relatively small job. “And that he can do one evening a week and at that time slot… I really don’t believe that. I think he will really do something different. That’s a shame to his honor.”
