Wilfred Genee expects ferocious Rob Kemps not to come to VI

Wilfred Genee expects that the angry Rob Kemps will not accept the invitation to join Today Inside. “I’ve been in touch with him for a while, but I don’t think he’s coming.”

The image of Rob Kemps is under heavy pressure now that it appears that he is a very different person behind the scenes than before. Where in front of the camera there is always laughter, whoops and roars, behind the scenes it is only roaring. He called around furiously on Monday when he heard that Today Inside was going to make fun of him in the evening.

‘To think about’

A day later, the same Rob was also furious on the phone at RTL Boulevard. He really went all out and even took the word ‘k*t program’ in his mouth. It is obvious that after the conclusion of his lucrative Talpa contract, Rob has completely lost his mind. His misconduct has been causing a stir for days now.

VI star Wilfred Genee had contact with Rob yesterday. “Just texted. I honestly texted: ‘Rob, wouldn’t it be convenient that you join us soon?’ Now it’s all getting such a big load, it’s getting bigger and bigger. Then he texted back: ‘Hey, what a great idea. I’ll definitely think about that.’”

‘He won’t come’

That can only mean one thing, according to Wilfred. “Usually when you say:” I’m going to think about it, “that means in Hilversum:” I’m not coming, “because Matthijs van Nieuwkerk has been thinking for five months since I last asked him. haha.”

Wilfred also asked Rob about his fight with Boulevard. “According to him, it is one big misunderstanding and he indicated that he did not call RTL Boulevard either. They called him. More importantly, I asked: ‘Do you think it’s a shit show?’ Then he said, ‘Don’t let me do that through the app, maybe I can explain it sometime.’”

‘Just come’

VI guest Job Knoester finds it incredibly awkward from a PR technical point of view how Rob behaves. “If he had just given those images, it wouldn’t have been about him here for three weeks.”

Rob pretends it’s not all up to him, but according to Wilfred it is. “The editors had already provided the images. We already had that and then the phone call came (from Rob, ed.).”

Wilfred ‘would love’ if Rob came by. He finds it a pity that the presenter reacts so reluctantly. “I’d say if you’re asked, ‘Okay, I’m coming, nice!’”
