Wildly parked e-scooters impede BSR – sweeper broke into construction site

Under the linden trees

It is early in the morning at around 3 a.m. when a city cleaner from the BSR drives down the sidewalk Unter den Linden with his small sweeper and ensures cleanliness when the machine suddenly breaks into the ground.

He had avoided wildly parked e-scooters.

He had run over the wooden planks of an excavation for cable lines with his 4-ton giant vacuum cleaner. The planks could not withstand the weight of the sweeper. She broke through and got stuck.

Only a large deployment of the fire brigade with a recovery crane and a heavy rescue vehicle was able to free the vehicle from the predicament after around 1.5 hours.
