A police chase ended on Wednesday evening after more than half an hour on the A16 highway near Breda. There, the fleeing car crashed, after which it ended up in the verge. Police have confirmed that at least two suspects have been arrested.
The chase started outside our province just before nine o’clock. As the car entered our province, about ten more police cars joined the chase. The flight ended around 9.30 pm, when the suspect ended up in the ditch near Breda. One of the passengers was injured.
It is not yet known exactly why the car fled. After the crash, the road at junction Galder was closed for half an hour. Police are still investigating the spot.
