Wild moss between Fedez and Luis Sal: the court’s decision

Not is not a positive period for Fedez. In addition to the crisis with his wife Chiara Ferragni, the rapper now also has to face the decision of the Milan court that concerns him the podcast Wild moss: the singer must sell his shares to Luis Sal, the former partner with whom he created and hosted the podcast and with whom, last year, a real feud began. Decision immediately commented by the singer in the Instagram Stories.

Fedez in tears at

Wild mossthe court’s decision

The news agency broke the news Handle who published a note released by the YouTuber’s press office. «The Milan court decides on Wild Moss: it’s by Luis Sal. Judge Amina Simonetti, with an order dated 23 February, in fact fully accepted the appeal for judicial seizure of the shares of Doom srl (a company managed by Annamaria Berrinzaghi, mother of Fedez) from Muschio Selvaggio srl, promoted by the lawyer Nicolò Ferrarini of Modena for account of Luisolve srl, a company owned by Luis Sal (co-founder of the Muschio Selvaggio podcast, as well as co-author and co-host). The provision decreed that Luis Sal’s company has the right to take over the shares of Fedez’s company, thus disempowering the latter in the management of the podcast».

Fedez vs Luis Sal: what happened

The facts date back to June last year. After days of Lui Sal’s absence from the podcast, Fedez decides to share everything with his followers. He begins by telling the origins of the podcast that was born without the idea of earning money. At least until Sanremo, when work was added to the fun but “all the money was spent on the creation of the format”.

At the end of the Festival, however, it breaks out between the two «a work discussion, in which I simply pointed out to Luis how, from my point of view, I had the feeling of having to take care of everything and I didn’t feel support from him. It was certainly a lively discussion which led us to say, in the end, “let’s take a few weeks to understand what to do”.

Continued a message from Luis to the rapper: «The format at this moment has taken on a connotation that is more Federico’s than Luis’s. I want to dedicate myself to other projects, I don’t want to do the podcast anymore». Hence his absence.

The rapper’s version was immediately attacked by the YouTuber, who revealed that he was in dispute with his now ex-colleague. Rumors followed about an alleged economic agreement, which were immediately denied by the two.

The “Russian roulette” clause

According to what was reported by theHandle, the court’s decision was made because in the statute of Wild Moss the Russian roulette clause is present. «In the event of a company stall (particularly in 50/50 companies), one of the two partners has the right to make an offer to buy the shares of the other partner. However, if the latter refuses, he is the first to have to sell the shares. The mechanism is deliberately created to prevent unfair negotiations.” And this is what happened between Feded and Luis Sal after the argument that led to the YouTuber’s removal from the podcast.

Last year, in fact, it was Fedez’s company that took the first step towards acquiring the shares of Luis Sal’s company. Then the refusal of the latter who, with his no, obtained the “position of buyer of Fedez’s shares”. At that point, however, the singer refuses and contests the clause. And the matter comes to court.

Fedez’s reply: «The episodes of Wild Moss will continue”

(Instagram Stories @fedez)

Fedez’s response arrived via social media: «The Milan court did not “decree” that the shares belonging to me should be sold to Luis Sal. Even because the case that will decide on the merits of the matter has not yet begun” he announced in his Instagram Stories. And he added: «The judge has established that a rib will manage my shares in the interests of the company Muschio Selvado srl and not in the interests of Luis Sal! Consequentially, I haven’t been deprived of anything, so much so that the episodes will continue to air».

What happens now

It is therefore unclear what will happen now. Fedez’s words seem to confirm that the feud with Luis Sal on the Muschio Selvaggio issue will continue. And also for theHandle it’s not all over yet. «It is Fedez’s responsibility to determine whether it intends to comply with the court ruling, accordingly surrendering his shares before a notary, or if he wishes to overlook the decision, thus forcing Luis Sal to resort to legal action again to obtain a ruling that will force Fedez to sell its shares and, consequently, to withdraw (permanently) from managing the podcast.”
