Wiesbaden is back with a win in Meppen

SV Wehen Wiesbaden has overcome its short low in the 3rd football league for the time being and is back in the race for promotion places.

The Hessians won 3-0 (2-0) at the start of the 15th matchday at SV Meppen and initially climbed back to third place in the relegation phase. With 27 points, Wehen is behind SV Elversberg (32) and 1860 Munich (29).

Double goalscorer Ivan Prtajin (7th/87th) and John Iredale (12th) scored after three set pieces for Wiesbaden, which had recently lost twice in a row.

Meppen pushed for at least one goal, but continued the free fall with the eleventh game in a row without a win. The Emsländer are in 17th place, but could slip to 20th place at the bottom of the table during the course of the day.
