The offspring of the notorious clan should have been in prison, sentenced to 4 years and 9 months in prison as boss of a cocaine delivery service. But just eleven months later he is said to have stabbed three opponents half dead in Tempelhof – for whatever reason the clan junior was walking around freely.
District Court, Room 501. Accused: Omar O. (28). There are 17 spellings for this clan name, not every family member is a case for justice.
But he did: It was not until September 9, 2020 that the district court sentenced the successful young criminal to almost five years in prison.
Since 2019, he had been the boss of a cocaine taxi empire from a Neukölln café: at least 850 regular customers, orders by SMS, courier trips in shifts, permanent employees. The “coke king of Neukölln” had eight months in custody at the time, admitted everything, and the verdict was passed on the first day of the trial.
Now he’s back in court. Accusation this time: attempted manslaughter three times. Saturday, August 7, 2021. Several men attacked each other in Tempelhof’s Colditzstrasse at around 6 a.m. after a night-time event. Omar O. is said to have had a knife, the blade was 35 cm long.
There are three seriously injured: a man (27) ends up in a coma, two (20, 35) in intensive care. According to the indictment, Omar O. assumed he had fatally injured the three men before he ran away. He wants to comment on the allegations on March 6th.
According to an LKA situation report on clan crime from 2021, 388 clan criminals are active in Berlin. 45 percent have German citizenship. 95 percent are men. 291 are multiple or intensive offenders. In Berlin, 20 criminal clans are up to mischief.
