Why this brand wants to sell fewer diapers: ‘There is an unjustified stigma on washable diapers’

A diaper producer that focuses on selling fewer diapers. It sounds contradictory, but that is the goal of the sustainable Rotterdam diaper brand Toddy. Diapers now form about 5 to 8 percent of the total amount of residual waste in the Netherlands. And that should be less of the opinion of the founders. How? By washable diapers, more durable disposable diapers and especially by helping parents to potty train their offspring earlier.
