The mega popular baking program makes way for an important football match.
Football instead of Whole Holland bakes
Next Saturday, the Orange squad will play against Denmark in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Both the match and the pre- and post-review will be broadcast live on NPO 1 on Saturday evening from 8.30 pm. That is good news for all football fans, but it sucks for the fans of All of Holland bakes. They have to wait an extra week for the new episode.
Spring fever
The baking competition among home bakers will continue on Saturday 2 April. Hopefully the nice weather will continue for a while, because then the theme will be ‘spring’. Previous seasons have all aired in the winter, but this time in the spring. The home bakers are therefore taking on the challenge of convincing the jury with their focaccias, baklava and floral spring cake.
All of Holland bakes blog
Last week the bakers celebrated André’s 75th birthday and he was the theme. In addition to croquette sandwiches and cheese biscuits, the bakers were allowed to work with a real cake in the shape of André. The bakers took a seat in the tent to try to blow the jury away with their baking skills. Like the jury, Libelle’s Milou was not very enthusiastic either. She tells that in her weekly HHB-blog† “I see dog bones, not butterflies.”
All of Holland bakes can be seen every week from Saturday 2 April at 8.30 pm on NPO 1.
