After ambiguous statements about a possible postponement, US President Donald Trump made it clear that tariffs should come into force on goods from Mexico and Canada in early March. “Mexico and Canada still flock to our country in very high and unacceptable quantities,” wrote the Republican on his online language tube Truth Social.
