Clarification on Twitter! Spanish media reported that superstar Shakira (45) was taken to the emergency room of a clinic in Barcelona on May 28. Accordingly, the singer suffered a panic attack on the street in front of her house.
According to “¡Hola!” Shakira cried uncontrollably. Her now more ex-boyfriend, soccer star Piqué (35), is said to have been there.
The pop queen is now giving the all-clear on Twitter: she is fine herself!
And Shakira was neither the patient nor admitted, as she says herself. Nevertheless, the eyewitness reports that saw her in an ambulance upset are correct. Because it wasn’t Shakira himself who was bad, but her father!
“My father had a bad fall and I was with him in an ambulance that took him to a clinic where he is now recovering,” Shakira tweeted. Shakira does not write whether she really had a panic attack. She calls on her fans to wish her father William Mebarak (90) the best.
¡Hola! reported that Shakira was taken to the Teknon Clinic in the Catalan capital last weekend. Barça star Piqué and Shakira’s mother Nidia del Carmen Ripoll followed the ambulance by car.

Even if there is now an all-clear about her health – Shakira’s love life is in shambles. On Saturday the singer officially announced the end of the relationship with Piqué through her agency.
The Catalan daily newspaper “El Periódico” only reported on Thursday about an imminent separation of the world and European champion and the pop singer after the musician caught the central defender cheating.
