Why on earth would I have to catch up on a series like Game of Thrones? | show

‘Only a handful of Tibetans have Game of Thrones I haven’t seen you’, I heard someone shout recently. Well, I’m one of those Tibetans and I’d like to be part of that handful for the rest of my life. Why on earth would I catch up with the series when the closing season and especially the last episode is just about universally hated? According to Wikipedia you have put more than 70 hours of your life in there!
