‘Why not take action for Ukraine?’

Linda de Mol disappoints Rob Goossens by continuing her media break, even during the Ukraine war. “It would have been nice if she returned to raise money,” says the TV connoisseur.

Linda de Mol’s face has been on a thunderstorm for a month and a half, so she is unable to make cozy TV entertainment. However, according to TV expert Rob Goossens, it would have been nice if she would return to the TV on Monday for a while to collect money for the victims of Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine.

Linda is not participating

Rob points to the reunion of Mattie and Wietze in RTL Boulevard. “I think this is such a special situation that you have to get over arguments.”

He continues: “I would have really liked it if Linda de Mol had said: ‘I had decided not to do anything for the time being, but this is such an important goal, I’m going to come back for a while to get money for it. to raise money for a good cause.’”

Has she been asked?

The TV action for Ukraine will now be presented by Linda’s great TV rival, Chantal Janzen. “Did they really ask Linda? Do you know that?” asks Luuk Ikink.

Rob replied: “Yes, she was not asked. Just to be sure, we asked her manager, but she was not asked, but of course that does not say much in itself, because Wendy van Dijk was not asked either and she suddenly had to hear through the press release that she was going to the Polish team. Ukrainian border had to.”

What does Wendy do?

It was the plan that Wendy would receive refugees at the Polish-Ukrainian border, but that is not going to happen. What is she going to do now? “It is still not clear what she will do, but it looks like she will do a lot of miles. What we hear is that she will be driving throughout the Netherlands.”

She then visits initiatives that aim to collect money for Ukraine, Rob knows. “And that she eventually drives to the live broadcast in the evening to announce the final amount together with Chantal Janzen. But even this is not certain yet.”

Communication error

The fuss surrounding Wendy’s involvement in this TV campaign for Ukraine remains astonishing, said Rob. “Giro 555 says it is not their fault, but that it was a communication error at Talpa.”

“But then again, I think that if the person involved doesn’t even know that she has to go to the Polish-Ukrainian border, then something more has gone wrong than one person who forgot to make a phone call.”
