Gordon annoys Jan Uriot with his constant need to showcase new loves on social media. “Why is he doing all this? That display of all those men.”
Lately, Gordon has been posting a lot of photos on Instagram with his new lover, a young lad from Australia. Just about every photo leads to news articles in the show media. It is striking that the SBS 6 star is again seeking attention via social media, because he recently indicated that he is completely done with that.

Telegraaf presenter Pim Sedee points it out in the section What does Jan think. “I saw the photo pass by. What a luck.”
Jan Uriot, star journalist of Privé, reacts cynically. “Yes, how lucky. Well, it should follow quickly, because next week it will of course be another one. Then you have to get used to someone else. It’s been that way for 20 years I believe. Then I think: why is he doing all this? That display of all those men.”
‘Don’t believe it’
Gordon probably wants to show that he can score young boys, says Jan. “He probably likes to show: I can still score nice people. It will be, but of course we don’t believe in this. Of course we do not believe that this will be the love of his life and that he will grow old with it.”
Pim wisely keeps his mouth shut. “I say nothing.”
What does Ferry say?
Ferry Doedens generally does not think it is useful to flaunt your love life like this, he explains in the talk show Allure. “If I got into a relationship, I wouldn’t immediately put it on Instagram or something.”
Allure presenter René Watzema then: “Why not? Call Gordon! He knows all about it! Doesn’t he have a new flame now? Or was that just for Valentine?”
Ferry then starts to laugh smugly. “Can I say something about that? In the meantime, in those two years, I also dated guys. With one it was almost something, but I tried to keep it out of the media as long as possible. I don’t like that at all. From: ‘This is my friend!’, and then two months later it’s over.”
‘He’s a treasure’
René: “Gordon thinks differently about that, but that is his approach.”
Ferry: “Certainly, and I am very happy and lucky that he is so happy in love. (…) I really think Gordon is a treasure. I said: ‘What a cutie too!’”
Is it a keeper? René’s co-host Farja Farvardin: “I don’t think so.”
