“Why is there information on the back of a bus?” | Question answer

Car editor Niek Schenk answers: ‘That differs per transport company. The Rotterdam RET buses only have line numbers on the back and no final destinations. But some companies do opt for this, such as the Amsterdam GVB. The information on the back of the bus is intended for travelers approaching the bus from behind. This happens, for example, when such a bus stops at the stop, or just drives away from there. Handy if you see which bus it is.’
