At the age of 18 years and 96 days, the young player made history as the youngest player to start a game at 11 in Serie A this season.

FOOTBALL HAS COME TO THE STOPPING POINT
Emirhan İlkhan, who gave an interview to the Italian press in the past weeks, said that he was on the verge of quitting football when he played for Beşiktaş. Emirhan said, “I was going to quit football. I couldn’t go to training by public transport every day. I was returning home in the evening. The road was very long and I was losing a lot of time on the way. I couldn’t even study. I continued with the support of my brother. I owe him a lot.”
