WHP Global and US retailer Express Inc. have completed the acquisition of menswear brand Bonobos.
In this context, Express and the brand management company have entered into a long-term license agreement, WHP Global announced on Thursday. This allows Express to use the intellectual property acquired from WHP Global to operate the bonobos business in the United States.
“The acquisition of Bonobos marks an important milestone in our partnership with EXPR and adds an innovative DTC menswear brand to WHP Global’s portfolio,” said Yehuda Shmidman, CEO of WHP Global.
WHP Global’s brand portfolio now includes more than 10 brands, which include Bonobos and the Italian sports goods retailer Lotto.
