Who is responsible for stealing and crashing the Maserati? The police are looking for witnesses to the theft of the very expensive car, which crashed into a tree last night and was found upside down in a Blaricum residential area.
The accident happened around half past nine last night at the Windvang, in the middle of a residential area. The car appeared to have been stolen a little further away, a spokesperson for the Central Netherlands police said. “We received a report of an accident, a car had hit a tree and ended up upside down. It turned out that the car had been stolen.”
After a hard collision with a tree, the car ended up upside down. There is no trace of the thief. The car had a green dealer’s license plate, often used by car dealers, during the accident.
Police are currently conducting a neighborhood investigation and are asking witnesses to the theft or collision to come forward. “We are busy looking for the occupant of the vehicle. We also emphatically request people who have seen or heard something or are in possession of camera images to report to the police.”
The model, a Maserati GranTurismo, has a new price of more than two hundred thousand euros and a power of 440 hp.
