During the draw, the Netherlands will be linked to a country team from pot 1, pot 3 and pot 4. Pot 1 contains the strongest teams and Qatar. Brazil, Belgium, France, Argentina, England, Spain and Portugal are the other countries in pot 1. Senegal, Iran, Japan, Morocco, Serbia, Poland, South Korea and Tunisia are in pot 3. Pot 4 consists of Cameroon, Canada , Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Wales – Ukraine/Scotland play-off winner, New Zealand play-off winner – Costa Rica, Peru – United Arab Emirates/Australia play-off winner.
Teams from continents other than Europe will be separated during the draw. The World Cup starts on November 21, with the final on December 18.
