Three years ago today, the Chinese department of the World Health Organization (WHO) received its first report of a lung disease of unknown origin, which was eventually identified as a novel coronavirus. Meanwhile, according to the WHO, more than 651 million people have already been infected with COVID-19 and more than 6.65 million people have died from or with the virus.
