“Who’s stealing the show from me?” is a phenomenon: Basically, it’s a big Joko Winterscheidt show, because the focus is primarily on the moderator. But it’s also about the fact that after winning several rounds of quizzes you can steal the show from him and hold the moderation cards in your hand the following week.
So far, only celebrities such as Olli Schulz or Anke Engelke have managed to do this in four seasons. In the first episode of the fifth season there is a premiere: Joko Winterscheidt is outdone by a so-called wild card candidate. Since the first season, there has always been one person from the audience. So far, however, it has never been enough to win. The charming, lively Helena from Berlin brought the coup.
Throughout the evening she was clever in almost all rounds and scored with general knowledge and strong nerves. Before the grand finale, she stood in a Steven Gätjen question and answer game in a fictional interview situation as an actress at the Cannes Film Festival. She had to read answers from the teleprompter, and was repeatedly given free fields that had to be filled in. Helena knew how to fill in every single blank line.
Helena and the first dog in space
In the final against Joko Winterscheidt things went better for the house champion. But Helena stayed cool. First she knew, unlike Winterscheidt, that Jordan Peele won the Oscar for “Get Out”, then it took her less than two seconds to think about the name of the first dog in space: Laika. Joko Winterscheidt thought loudly and doggedly, was already annoyed when he entered his answer: Sputnik. That was wrong (it’s actually the first artificial Earth satellite sent into space by the Soviet Union in 1957), Helena triumphed.
Now all of Germany is wondering who is this young woman who made Sido, Jasna Fritzi Bauer, Bill Kaulitz and ultimately Joko Winterscheidt look cold and had to struggle with breathing and body several times?
“Who’s stealing the show?”: This is Helena Charlotte Sigal
Helena is called Helena Charlotte Sigal, is 26 years old and comes from Berlin. She was born in Saarland in 1996. After graduating from high school, she studied acting in Vienna, also completed puppetry during a stay abroad in Croatia, and now living in Berlin, regularly gives theater performances at the GRIPS Theater for children and young people.
She has already appeared on TV on “SOKO Kitzbühel” and on ORF on “Schnell determined”.
As Helena tells in a video, she met Joko Winterscheidt in the past at Berlin Central Station, where she helped him out with some money. Since then, the two have not heard from each other. Now the moderator will probably remember your name.
