The Iron Ones will continue on Tuesday. The question is: Who is in goal in the quarter-finals of the cup in Frankfurt (6 p.m. / ZDF & Sky)?

Coach Urs Fischer (57) hopes for Rönnow: “The risk was too great, a precautionary measure. I’m confident that it will last until Tuesday.”

What the Swiss thinks: Frederik Rönnow (30) was injured against Stuttgart (3-0). He was represented for the first time in 2023 by Lennart Grill (24). The nervousness was noticeable in him – committed from Leverkusen last week after the loan. Especially after the supposed 0:1 (33rd) by Perea, which the VAR rightly conceded because of a handball. Grill had previously misjudged badly.

The keeper: “Maybe I needed that to really get into the game. Over time, I became more and more confident.”
