Weeks ago, in some provinces, serious failures were recorded in the health system. National Registry of Persons (RENAPER), which meant that some procedures could not be carried out, causing delays in care. In some cases, employees reported intermittent outages in the system. These defects affect the entire country and delay identification procedures, new copies of DNI, updates, changes of address and passports.
In Salta, for example, the official government portal announced these inconveniences that occurred at the end of February. The Undersecretary of the Civil Registry, Fernanda Ubiergoreported that “due to this failure in the national identification system of the National Registry of Persons that was detected last week and that, according to the national organization, will persist during the next few days, it was decided to reschedule the shifts granted the line 148”.
Almost coincident in time with the reported inconveniences, the National Government decreed an appointment in the hierarchical sector of the health system National Register of persons: Geraldine Calvella like the new Director of Supervision of RENAPER Documentation Centers. Without experience or a university degree, the young 23-year-old libertarian activist receives a monthly salary that exceeds 2,700,000 pesos.
An image of the receipt with the payment of salaries went viral on social networks, arousing indignation among users. In the settlement corresponding to the month of February, it was observed that the date of entry into the public administration of the official was 15 January of this year. Without seniority in any national agency, the young woman has a Level A0 category, one of the most prominent classifications of the state function.
In her social media profile, the brand new libertarian official makes herself known as a law student and Christian. Originally from Saladillo, she once studied medicine at the Maimonides University, but he decided to abandon it and turn to a career in Law 21st Century University. According to her Linkedin profile, where you can see a photo of the young woman next to the president, Calvella had work experience as “Political advisor” in the Honorable Chamber of Deputies.
With outstanding activity on his Instagram profile, Calvella last year participated in the active militancy of Freedom Advances for the 2023 presidential elections.
