Agustin Fernandeznational deputy of Union for the Homeland, is seriously questioned by his colleagues on the bench for showing his support for the ruling party’s mega legislative project called “omnibus law”.
During this Wednesday the Tucumán legislator, who responds to the governor Osvaldo Jaldowas a trend on social networks and many Peronist activists accused him of being a “traitor” for not signing the rejection opinion endorsed by Peronism and supporting the national government’s proposal.
The official project of the “omnibus law” achieved in the plenary session of commissions the 55 votes he needed, out of a total of 115 members who made up the three commissions that debated the initiative. Among the supporters of the ruling party is that of Fernández, who also announced to the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Martin Menem, who will form his own block, accompanied by his peers Gladys Medina and Elia Fernández de Mansilla. Deputy Fernández is former mayor of Aguilares and one of the three national deputies who respond to Governor Osvaldo Jaldo. The head of the Tucumán Executive Branch, in intense negotiations, had managed to eliminate the modifications in the sugar law from the project and maintain exports of lemon and derivatives without withholdings. For this reason, Jaldo was willing to endorse the opinion with the modifications that the national government proposed to “The bases”.
“Let the people of Tucumán stay calm. When the Homeland is in danger, we have to get rid of partisan and personal differences, and I got them out of it,” Jaldo told the media on Monday and added: “That’s why I’m going to defend the interests of the province, no matter what it costs us; our deputies are going to vote for our regional economies and so that we continue paying salaries to those who work in hospitals, in schools and our police officers continue to receive salaries.
